At the last minute, the committee added the book Gangreen 1 (Black Venus) by Jef Geeraerts to the list.
The unexpected death of the master between the completion of the committee work and the launch of this canon forced our hand. This is a dynamic canon. So, we wanted it to be truly dynamic.
The issue will be back on the table at the canon’s next “service”. Will we return to the list of 50? Perhaps. But there is an equal chance that we will end up with 53 works.
